I support Brian Kelly

His rant last night was on point.
We just beat a big rival and the first thing the reporter wants to do is point out the negatives.
We are trying to win a championship.
Perfection is rare but having a team that fights to the end and plays hard is more important than having a flashy team that puts the ball in jeopardy and doesn’t play to its strengths.
That reporter should have read the room and maybe asked a question that looked to explain why we were able to lose an all sec linebacker and still win the game.
The team overcame obstacles and stayed focused and won against a desperate but talented rival.
Talk about the rarity in that. Tennessee and Notre Dame would love to be where we are right now.
Defense wins championships ask Nick and Kirby. They know.

Maybe they shouldn’t have chosen that reporter to ask the first question. The question wasn’t even negative btw. BK made it negative because he knows the offense has been bad.

He also makes 10 mill a year and is responsible for the entirety of the program’s success and failures.
Totally appropriate question regarding the offense. Where is it? Why won’t it improve? What are you going to do to fix it?

Our defense had 5 INTs including a pick 6. It was the most exciting game from defense in probably over a decade.

We won’t beat Alabama or Oklahoma (and maybe not even A&M or Ole Miss) with this anemic offense we’ve seen so far. Brian Kelly was just being defensive and lashing out like a child because he knew that he would have to answer that question. He should have to have to answer that question. The offense is offensive.

As a head coach of a major university, the buck stops with him so the blame is on him. If he doesn’t like the criticism especially considering the money he is making, maybe he needs to find another profession. Consider this, when fans complained about the defense several years ago, Kelly recognized a problem and fixed it. Saban was brutal with some of the media, but he had the championships to back up his plan.

You seem to grossly misunderstand the role the media plays in the world. They're not there to be BK's cheerleader and mouthpiece for the narratives he wants to put out.
