I’m sick of the talking points about Jesus and turning the other cheek

People often picture Jesus as only meek and gentle, but Scripture also shows that He could be forceful, even aggressive, when righteousness demanded it.
• Cleansing the Temple (John 2:13–17; Matthew 21:12–13): Jesus physically drove out money changers, overturning tables in zeal for God’s house.
• Rebuking Hypocrites (Matthew 23:27–28): He called the Pharisees “whitewashed tombs,” using cutting words to expose their corruption.
• Pronouncing Judgment (Matthew 11:20–22): Jesus openly denounced unrepentant cities, declaring that they would face worse judgment than ancient Tyre and Sidon.
• Sword Imagery (Matthew 10:34): He said He came not to bring peace but a sword—meaning His message would divide, demanding ultimate allegiance.
• The Warrior Christ (Revelation 19:11–16): The returning Christ is portrayed as a righteous warrior, judging and striking down the nations.
These moments show that Jesus wasn’t passive in the face of sin or corruption. His actions were never petty or selfish, but always rooted in justice, truth, and zeal for His Father’s will.
He was compassionate and merciful, but when necessary, He confronted evil head-on.
When we are baptized, we are named “Soldiers of Christ”. Defend your families. Defend our Christian Nation.
My fellow Christians, arm yourselves.

We need some old testament justice.

People forget that Peter, perhaps the closest disciple to Jesus, regularly was armed with the most powerful weapon a man could carry at the time.

Didn't he get crucified? Do he not say, " no one takes my life from me?"

Okay. So. What would you have us do? Are we supposed to go kill people? Who?

If you’re raising a family, I suggest you read this.
It talks about everything mentioned above.

Be prepared to face evil. Make evil doers pay (as we are seeing with them losing their jobs). Get in shape, train, and carry. Make yourself harder to kill.
Most importantly, raise your children right.
Don’t go on a crusade or anything.

Good men are eventually going to have to do bad things to really bad people for the sake of their children's future. These people would do the same to your son as they did Charlie Kirk... Remember that.

My only problem is deciding which one to carry on any given day.

The downvotes almost certainly have low T and no children.

One of the worst is James Talarico here in Texas. He hides behind religion but still supports transgenderism even though it is aware to anyone that this idea is violent and destructive.
He tries to portray the “every man” but it’s bullshite. Get the word out that this guy and his views need to be kept far away from public office; especially the Senate.

In Ecclesiastics, there is a time for peace and a time for war, a time for love and a time for hate. A time to rend and a time to sow.
These verses have been on my mind since Kirk was taken from us.
I've gaslit myself over the years to believe that peace and love are the only answers, but the Word clearly says that there is a season for all of these things. There is a time for the secular Left to reap what they have sown. There is a time for us to hate them. There is a time for us to physically fight them.
Is that time now? I cannot say, but it feels like it. It's been days now, and my anger has not subsided.

Observe who you associate with. If they are demons, then disassociate and teach your kids the same. Just remove them from you life.

No, don't ever stoop to the level of progressive demons. That is what they want so they can turn and play the victim, which is what they do best. If ONE of them is taken back for the hundreds of you that they took, the MSM will make their one a hero for ages and that will be the key to killing hundreds more of you.

Yes, but I suspect that you wouldn't mind blood for blood

All these old testament references and Support for Israel.
It almost seems like Evangelicals resent Jesus sometimes. Oh let's just forget everything he said and find conflicting passages in the Jewish Bible so that we can ignore them.
Luther was a psychopath who had to be talked out of eliminating half the books from the Bible. Now we have come full circle.

God didn’t change with the coming of Jesus.
Same God yesterday. Today. Forever.
