It is not a child’s game by any stretch
That said, I have to play Switzerland here, bc I can see both Kelly and the reporter’s points here
The offense clearly struggled. Expectations at LSU are high.
But Florida is better than their record, especially defensively. They do have some nice players. And gutting out a win is a good thing vs a conference opponent. And Kelly deserves credit as HC for righting the ship defensively.
But agree that Kelly makes too much money to behave that way. Just answer the question.

Like I said, Can we all agree as simple response of “Sloan and I will get in the game room with Garrett next week and work on his decision-making and make sure that we’re prepared for the next game”would’ve been a way better response then shut the hell up and don’t talk to me. We won the game so you should be happy.
The sideline reporter asked him. “Hey it seems like your defense is playing championship caliber football. What do you do to address your offense to get them on the same level” Bryan Kelly’s answer was “maybe you don’t” then he went to the press conference and told everybody to shut up.

I can see both points of view but were you hypercritical when Saban would get defensive and berate the media? Was he acting like a child?

It was not a good look for Kelly. Embarrassing.

I disagree.
IMO, he got hit with a negative question right out of the gate - after beating Fla (which has notoriously been a hard game for LSU, no matter home or away)
Had that question not been the 1st one, and maybe 6-10, he’s not as mad.
Also, he KNOWS that Sloan, Nuss, the OL, etc - will not cut it playing like this the rest of the season - if they want to make playoffs.
If anything, his outburst accomplishes 2 objectives:
A) it shows his players he’s got their back (when it comes to public image)
B) it allows him to take Sloan, O-staff and even Nuss, aside in meetings and say “fix this sheet NOW, because I’m tired of Cauble and I don’t want to keep answering negative questions!”
