FB friend I dont know well is a PICU MD who has been calling Kirk a “vile bigot” while decrying his support. Apparently she has been told to shut up because someone doxed her (apparently being investigated). I dont feel bad for her

Edit: she keeps saying specifically he did not deserve to be murdered. But again and again he is a “vile bigot.”

Insulting someone, no. Celebrating publicly a person being murdered in cold blood for literally just believing in Jesus and America, yes.

If you're on your social media platform with your name and occupation attached to it......you aren't getting "doxxed". You are being held accountable.

Probably not but context matters. I care about your friend and her well being as much as she cared about anyone losing their job for not getting the covid shot.

In my opinion, that is up to the company they work for. My company has a clear social media policy and people have been fired for abusing it. Some companies may not and may not see the backlash that pushes them to fire

If they bring negative publicity to the company, then yes, they deserve to go

If I own a business and an employee insults someone worshiped by half of my customer base, you bet your arse.

If anyone working with patients, students, the elderly, and vulnerable people promote violence online, they need to be fired as safety concerns.

Yes. There is no room for someone to show that they may do less than their best where someone’s health is concerned.

At the very least it shows a complete lack of sound judgment and discernment.
And regarding fields where the employee is responsible for human care and wellbeing, it shows a disturbing lack of respect for human life.

This isn’t mere “political opinion” (which is what cancel culture as we commonly know it is about), and all the obtuse dumbasses employing the false equivalence know this.
