Josh Allen probably at least gets to one first before Burrow gets back.

He could easily become the Dan Marino of this era.

Not whether he is good, whether he gets back to the Super Bowl. Think Marino.

ETA: I was beaten to the Marino point

I think Elway and Hurts are the only QBs to return to the SB and win it after losing the first one

Plenty of HOF QBs have played in 0-1 SBs. QBs for the most part may only get 1 shot at it.

Getting to the Super Bowl so early in his career was one of the worst things that could have happened in his situation.

That accomplishment bought Zac Taylor a long leash to stick around this long.

It also gave the Brown family confidence to keep operating the organization like they had been for over a generation. They didn’t need to take any gambles or go on a spending spree. They opted for a slow incremental build. Now that slow build has resulted in a handful of highly paid pieces eating up most of their salary cap.

They don’t have the scouting staff, innovation, coach, or philosophy to successfully build around that obstacle.

Burrow taking them into paying Tee Higgins was the beginning of the end if their run as a serious team.

RG is not going to allow it. He doesn’t fit the current marketing strategy narrative.

The last two MVP winners have never been to the Super Bowl.

He’ll be a free agent at 34. As long as he doesn’t get suckered into an extension and his body holds up, that’s 3-5 good shots at a ring in a stable org. If he wants a ring badly enough he'll take a Brady-like team friendly contract and have a really good shot

I think he emulates Stafford (traded to LA at 33). #1 overall pick stuck with a shite franchise who finds a taste of stability with one that cares and isn’t coached by retards. Gets a ring and probably ironically ruins it for an up and coming superstar like Stafford did to him

I think another good question would be what has Zak Taylor done to last a seventh year?

I dont think football is a top priority for him anymore. He seems to want to model and play house with his beard girlfriend.

No he does not even come close to another superbowl
