How would that affect your morality, how you live your life?

When I discovered that it made me a better person.
Stopped making me believe I could just ask for forgiveness and be granted it by some magical ghost in the sky.
Makes you learn personal accountability.

This question has already been played out, look at the morality of the left in this country.

Hopefully, it would make people appreciate the value of life knowing there's no second go-round.

When you live life for yourself and not a higher power, there is no absolute truth or morality and the goal posts keep moving.. a la the modern democrat party.

Not sure but I'm much happier, free feeling, a better person in every way possible once I became a Christian. Guess if somehow I was told there's no afterlife I'd go back to my old life of pain.

It wouldn't at all because my morality isn't based on anything requiring an after life

You can't answer a question on a what if that's based on an impossibility. The answer is not based on a reality of sorts.

I'd start doing hookers and blow.

Right because your morality becomes relative, and you can justify whatever actions any way you want.

If the threat of hell is the only thing causing you to live your life the right way, you should probably be talking to a shrink, not Jesus.

Why would that affect my morals? Are you caring for people just to earn points for the next level?
Posted on 9/12/25 at 3:43 pm to prplhze2000
I’d be a lot more violent and cruel to those who displease me

Id argue morality is governed more by society.
Personal morality may change though. People rhat have justified a forgiveness route usually are able to excuse their lapses in morality.

Wouldn’t change anything. My goal is to be a good person who makes good decisions, not to win a reward or trophy.

I mean I knew this at 8.

Made me live with greater purpose now, for others around me, and appreciate every minute of time.
I’m not living for some future reward or in fear of hell. This life is the reward. Have found life of balance - taking care of others / self - creates reward now.
