Was able to score an extra ticket for my boy! He has been to day games but never a night game. He is all ball and playing tackle for the first time this year and he is VERY excited. Hell, I AM JACKED for him to experience a night game in Death Valley.

I know, CSB but I just wanted to share my excitement with all my internet friends.

Hell yeah. Some of my fondest childhood memories are going to games with my dad and brother. Soak it in.

I wish someone in my family shared my love for LSU football. Neither of my girls are into big crowds and for my hubby it interferes with hunting season. Have a blast with your son...making memories!

Trust me, this nut isn't gonna go anywhere until the game is over.

that is good stuff... my first game as a young boy, i watched Charles Alexander run for over 100 yards against Wake Forest; and now this weekend I will be there with my kids to watch him get his jersey retired. DAMN I AM OLD!

Sounds awesome. Did you check with his father first?

Mine was Tennessee Gsme on Monday night following Katrina. Tiger Stadium Upper East was full of drunk terds that night. Language and behavior perfect for 8yo to experience! Not.

Left at halftime (with LSU winning). Watch rest from home. Game ended like upper east started.

Hope yours has much better experience.

I was 9 in 1960 when I attended my first LSU Football game. We lost to Baylor. I will never forget that game.

I mean I’m just gonna tell him. I’m gonna tell him he’s gonna hear a lot of things he’s not allowed to repeat.

Take a pic or video of him when the band hits the note. My kids are in their 20s , but we have all three pics framed. It’s with it.
