I’m looking at root causes.
People are too bold in what they say online behind a handle. And while it might be just for fun or whatever, there are mentally unstable people out there (probably unstable due to cyber bullying and social media) that devalue their own lives so much, they do crazy shite. Like shoot someone.

It wouldn't stop the bullshite... leftists would still do their thing because they know freedom of speech is respected by the right for the most part... but the right would go silent for fear of themselves, their spouses, their children, their coworkers, friends, etc... being harmed.
