Can I get some clarification on the murder of the MN state lawmakers?

I see this being flaunted by the “it’s both sides doing the violence” crowd. I didn’t follow that story in depth but I recall there was significant discussion here.

The shooter was “a Christian” and anti -abortion but was also described as not very political and had served in an appointed position under Democrats, right? My impression at the time was that there was too much ambiguity to nail down where he stood, politically.

What was the general consensus on his ideology and motive ?

That guy was appointed(at least twice?) to positions by Tim Walz. Tim Walz isn’t someone who appoints a Conservative.

I was hearing that from co-workers this morning. Had to tell them this guy left the Republican Party years ago and became a Waltz crony.

And wasn’t the only link to conservatives the statement that he voted for Trump coming from the Michael Moore looking pizza delivery roommate (weird association)

That dude had No Kings Rally signs in his car. Amazing how that shite disappeared like a fart in the wind. Not a peep about motive. We do know one of the victims broke with Dems on Illigeal Immigrants receiving healthcare.

Contrary to popular belief, people appoint people who can do the job.

The Minnesota killer had a hit list of 45 names, all democrats. So do with that info what you will.

The guy was plainly nuts though, claimed he was secretly trained by the US military and had been on secret missions all over the world. He was a devout christian who obviously has mental issues that were not treated properly.

And the local cops just happened to take initiative and check on other officials in the area, on gut instinct. That whole thing was fishy.

He served under Walz.

Tampon Tim wouldn’t appoint him if he wasn’t an ardent supporter of the left.

It wasn't even that he voted for Trump - those records are private. It's that he participated in the 2024 Minnesota Primary - which is an open primary meaning you can walk up and check which party primary you want to vote in. There were three parties on the ballot - the DNC, GOP, and the Legal Marijuana Now party. After the killings, the DNC and Legal Marijuana Party claimed he was not on their voter roles in 2024 so the media ran with "he voted for Trump."

A crazy person did a crazy thing. To try and act like any of this violence is typical of the average person is delusional and pointless.

But the other victim voted WITH the Dems, so how could that be the motive?

It wasn't political and the guy had worked directly for Walz.

People like SFP are grasping for straws, that's all.

And the "No Kings" flyers in his vehicle? Is this true? If so, still want to mark him as a conservative?

He was also against national borders and promoted a one-world government under Christianity.

In real time we posted literal videos of him in Evangelical churches preaching , including his anti-abortion stuff.

Not a story or some written description, literal videos of him literally doing it himself.

At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what the shooter was… because people on the right weren’t praising the murder

This further distances himself from the Left.

How many Leftists do you know who want a theocracy under Christianity?
