Is she suggesting a D. B. Cooper scenario? Maybe the shooter parachuted from the plane? This is a wild speculation but check it out anyway.

Do you know how much open desert there is 30 min around Provo, Utah?
They easily could have gone off radar and landed at some abandoned airstrip in middle of nowhere where the shooter had a car waiting

Hmmmm.... who knows? It would seem an obvious and easily tracked method of escape. Seems using a vehicle would be better and able to blend in with the public..... IMHO

I thought of that too. Landing a plane in the middle of nowhere will stand out on a satellite image.
Landing may be just as good at drawing attention like shooting off flares.

Seems simple enough. She’s asking why a jet flew out of Provo, turned off its flight tracker for 30 minutes ( illegally?) , and then came back to Provo.

Definitely something worth looking into. The info on the plane isnt publicly available but the FBI can surely look into it.
