My 20 year old son is at college and called me about Charlie Kirk. He was upset.

I think you could make the claim that Charlie was their generation’s JFK.

I have a 20 year old son and he’s upset as well. My neighbor’s daughter who’s about 24-25 is upset as well.

Kirk had a huge influence on the youth.

I had some college guys texting me about this today. They were shook.

My nephew is a little older than them and he called me while I was at work. I didn’t have much time to talk to him.

This will be the most conservative generation we have had since WWII.

I promise you that.

He was close in age to them and went around the country to colleges to speak up on their behalf and then to see him shot in the throat in order to silence his speech. I don't blame them for being upset we're all upset by it.

I understand they are upset. What I may not have known was the influence he had on them.

Yeah I'm just realizing that myself. I think whoever ordered his assassination miscalculated big time.

I don’t if he was there yet but he was headed that way. Bright future in politics and guiding the youth.

I had the same call from my daughter.

What stood out the most was how angry she was at the way too common opinion she has heard from liberal students happy it happened.

Same. Our daughter is the youngest at 24, almost 25. She’s devastated.
