Avoid Budget. The cheapest way to rent is through Costco

They're all away from the terminal and require a short shuttle bus ride. I prefer National since I have access to the Executive Aisle but Avis has been good to me there in the past.

[quote]They're all away from the terminal/quote] And yet it's not ORD or even IAH.

I know we all want to help, but goddamn. "Best hotel in Paris, willing to pay 100 Euro a night!" It's the same shite, over and over. I just stay here to glean info on somewhere I' haven't been, or something I haven't thought of. It was supposed to be a safe space from the OT, and I'm about ruined on Travel.

In general, regardless of airport, I've had good experience with National, Enterprise and Hertz. Worse experience with Avis and Budget, truly bad experience with an offsite rental company..

I used to rent from Budget, but two experiences with the Budget at Love Field caused me to switch to National.

I have only been to Love Field 2-3 times total and a couple of weeks ago was the first time in many years. I made a point to find the marker that shows where AFO was sitting when Johnson took the oath of office after Kennedy was shot. This has nothing to do with rental cars but was interesting way to spend a few minutes during a layover.
