looking for recs for a couple of pop up ground blinds to hunt with the kids. I see the Tidewe see through ones online, but haven’t had any experience with them. Thanks.

I have a couple Ameristeps and quite a few Baronett blinds. I like Baronett brand and get them pretty quick off of Amazon.

Never been a fan of the idea of a see-through blind. I could be wrong, but it seems as though it would let a little too much light inside for me. I like the interior to be as dark as possible and only open the corner and front windows when I hunt.

I have a few Ameristeps and love them. They've held up pretty well considering the weather they've been thru while out during hunting season. They are also very easy to setup.

The two other things you may consider for hunting out of a ground blind:
A shooting stick to prop the gun on to take a shot and building a wooden platform a few inches off the ground with carpet to set the blind on. At least in my experience and before I had built one, after a little rain and a couple hunts the entire ground in my blind was nothing but slop and would never fully dry due to being covered by the blind. Chair would sink into the ground, couldn't put nothing down, everything full of mud, and it stunk like hell. The platform doesn't even need "legs".

And as Hawgeye said, I feel the same way about see thru blinds and thus have stayed away from them.
I could be totally wrong but I can imagine some light is let thru them. The last thing you want is light coming in from behind causing a silhouette of you looking at the blind from the front.
I try to keep the interior of my tent as dark as possible by keeping rear windows closed or barely cracked and then having windows I intend to shoot out of just open enough for the barrel to slide thru and my scope to have a clear view.

I left my Tidewe out for the whole season last year and it still looks great.

I did the same. I have the big one and the thing is huge. Well worth the money, and they're cheaper than the majority of other blinds.

Its darker on the inside then you might think. I had same thought process,

Once it starts getting dark you need to crack a window to actually see out.

if you catch them on sale I feel like they are a good deal

My kid bought me a Chinese see through hub blind for Christmas last year. It had a zip in floor. I was surprised how good it was quality-wise.
