Controversial billboard in Mobile receives backlash

The message on the sign reads, “It’s time to get the clowns out” above images of two Black clowns.
The message is from an unknown sender and it’s led to speculation.

Several people said they want the sign taken down, especially since no one truly knows what it means.
“I’d like to see it taken down,” one man said. “Don’t nobody know what it is or who put it up.”
