Nextdoor asked me to be a Moderator. Should I?

As a surprise to me I received an invite to be a moderator for Nextdoor. I've not made many posts on the site but do read it every few days. Mostly to chuckle at the Karen's and help the lost dogs.I've been flagged once for a comment I can't remember. I generally keep it low key, to not get flagged, but I do have a vastly more conservative view.

Here's another thing., After I agreed to be a Nextdoor moderator they must have sent me a dozen emails over the span of several months asking me what race I was. I wrote back asking them why they wanted to know.

I guess corporate shut me down.
