The other thing I don’t understand about this total is that even on LSUs successful drives they are long possession based. Nuss hikes the ball with less than 7 seconds every play, (making adjustments to line) and it’s very non explosive play, slow tempoed.

Florida to be up for this game and we will too. Our defense isn't going to hold teams to 1 or 2 scores every single week. Im expecting a 28-20 type game.

Legit question. What makes you think that Nuss is due for a better game? I mean, we have a pretty large body of work to judge Nuss by. I unfortunately think the version of Nuss we have, is the only version. He definitely hasnt taken that 2nd year leap that so many swore he would.

In 2 games this year, he's looked average at best. A few moments during Clemson he looked great, but he also almost threw a pick 6 in the last few minutes that could have cost us the game.

I just don't see what so many see in Nuss.

If Florida had beaten USF by 1 point LSU would probably be favored by 3. I think 9.5 is a gift.

Yeah Florida +9.5 and the under both seem like great plays. Florida isnt going to roll over and I think this line would've been a good 3 or 4 points lower had they beaten USF so it seems like a big overreaction to one game.
