Why is he being protected and not being held to any level of responsibility for the lack of run blocking?

These are all highly recruited players and their have been a lot of OL players being drafted so why can they not effectively run block at LSU?

The fans want to hang Sloan. I see nothing wrong with his play calling. The issue is on the OL.

They physically look like shî%. The only ones that look like actual thick muscular sec, big 10 level O linemen are the two transfers. The guys that we have recruited haven't developed physically much since they have gotten here. They look soft...

Not many fans like Brad Davis. All I’ve heard about him is “good recruiter, bad developer of talent”.

Obscene take.

How can you see every single inside zone be stuffed and continue to call it? At some point you have to assess your own strengths and weaknesses and play to your strengths. We can’t run inside zone. He keeps calling it. He coordinates the entire offense. Of course it’s on Sloan.

He definitely needs to be reevaluated at the end of the season.

OK, I've seen Sloan get skewered and B Davis get skewered. I believe LSU hired a "run game coordinator". I have no idea what the guy's name is but let's throw some shade HIS WAY shall we.

How about the new run game coordinator? Wasn't he supposed to improve our rushing attack?

He says all the right things and he sounds good saying it. But, the Oline is bad, very bad. I also feel like he's shielded, but the play calling doesn't help a weak Oline.

The first black head coach in LSU football history is not going anywhere any time soon.

Well you know a OL coach isn't any good when you have to go hire another coach to coordinate your run game. Isn't this something that your OL coach should be able to handle?

I really don’t understand how in CBK’s 4th year how we don’t have a serviceable offensive line. Can’t fathom it…

This is a habit that formed under Les. Nobody wants to lay any responsibility at the HCs feet so they automatically go to the coordinators to label as scapegoats. This is Kelly’s offense first off, secondly the playcalling last night was bland by design because you should just be able to run the ball at will vs a team like that. We couldn’t because the oline played poorly. Now you could say where were the screens, where was the creativity in the run game we saw week 1. That wasn’t part of the plan is the answer. Should it have been? Well, now that we know we can’t push people around it’ll have to be no matter the opponent. We’ll have to empty the bag every week because we can’t simply impose our will on anyone. That’s not an OC issue though.

Lmao. Absolving the playcalling is no more reasonable an opinion.
