Remember when Cleveland believed OBJ and thought Mayfield was the problem?

Baker may be the most underrated QB in the history of the NFL.

Who else would be in the discussion really? Ken Anderson? Vinny T?

I’m very thankful for that massive mistake by Cleveland. Every pundit had Tampa going straight in the toilet after Brady with the 70 million dead cap hit in 2023. Baker changed the whole trajectory of this organization he’s been awesome.

Hell of a first game for Egbuka!!

Didn't Baker basically play an entire year for Cleveland with a jacked up shoulder? As a Giants fan, I never liked Odell. I thought his attitude started the downward spiral of that franchise.

Seems like the football gods flip a coin with LSU receivers. They’ll be talented but it’s 50/50 on if they’ll be a toxic diva. Chase and Nabers are starting to show diva tendencies. Jefferson and Thomas haven’t.

Never understood why no one wanted Mayfield. Good for him for finding a home.

Baker Mayfield is fool's gold.

OBJ is obnoxious as a person, but ths tape with the Browns didn't lie.

He's doing better with the Bucs and is playing well, but he's still a very mid QB.

Very underrated post. Baker had that last minute drive for LA with no practice and signed 3 days before game.

That win and how he did it under circumstances got teams to start kicking the tires. Tampa needed a low cost QB due to cap money from Brady lagging over. So Baker agreed to a low cost prove it year. And he’s still there. Win/win for everyone. First time in his career he’s had stability at a well run organization.

One of my favorite players, because of what he was up against in college and then pro’s.

Many don’t know or forgot but he enrolled at OU as a walk on and Bob Stoops had no idea. Found out in a presser I believe. Then TT would not release him so he had to sit out a year. Imagine how much has changed since then. Then he took over and should have won a title if not for Stinkin Riley doing a short kickoff before half that cost us a FG in a game that went 2 OTs.

Then the Cleveland fiasco. They finally get an actual QB who cared about the city and team and they fricked him over by signing a sexual predator (alleged). Then he goes to the dumpster pile in Carolina. Then gets cut. And thats when LA gave him that 3 day contract.

Amazing story. I want to see him win a title so badly. He’s overcome a lot. I didn’t even add about he was TT starter got hurt and when back healthy they shunned him. Which is why he left and walked on at OU. And tx didn't even want him during HS recruiting
