There’s an entire world out there with which I’m not terribly familiar.

Well did you at least get the latest vape that has a touch screen on it for all your hard work?

Interestingly, the clerk kept asking me how to configure the system so they could do a cash sale and not actually record the cash sale.

Spoke perfect English and Arabic and the owner kept checking in from Miami.

Pretty typical of small business in my experience!

Did an inspection of a multi-tenant center a few years ago. Opened the door to the vape shop unit and a cloud of blueberry flavored smoke hit me like a scene out of a Micheal Bay movie. Plowed through it and emerged to a bunch of kids on couches vaping like their existence were hanging on to sucking on their vapes. Looked at the shop manager and just told him I've seen all I need to see.

"Vapers" are among the dumbest breed. And they think they are so smart and healthier because they vape instead of smoke, like they are gaming the system or something.

And yes, I wonder how all these damned places stay in business. They are more prevalent than convenience stores it seems.

Huge markups on those products no doubt.

Money laundering helps too.

Probably. The cost of doing business these days is so high, cant necessarily say I blame them all but we will never really know the depth of it all.
