Tent stakes removed before 5 pm friday

I put out my tent frames at 1230 Friday, they were gone before 1 pm when i rolled back by. There is a tent frame graveyard at landscape services behind lot 108 across from the Maclendon practice facility. A bunch of tents were there this afternoon.
They picked up 17 frames on Thursday and about 30 more as of 2 pm Friday. Real pia to find out where my tents were but once found the staff was very polite and they are just following orders. Good newa is that they didnt trash them. Heads up to my fellow Tiger fans who may be missing their tent frames Saturday morning.
Cant set up till Friday evening.

Hasn’t the rule always been that you can’t start setting up until classes end on Friday? I believe that’s how it was when I was a student. Do t really tailgate now since I’m too damn old for that shite 
. I just walk right into the stadium and enjoy the game.

Similar to the note about generators, this too, has been something that has been somewhat a given year in year out. Especially with parking. Best to setup after the 4:30pm campus close.

Good. Bring back the good ole days when you had to wake up early on Saturday to get out there. The tailgating also started earlier then.
The whole bullshite of “marking your territory” with a tent skeleton on Thursday or Friday is lame as frick. Just because you put your markers out there doesn’t mean it’s your spot.

I mean its always been that you can't setup till after schools out Friday. Not sure why you'd be surprised.

Same. So it’s been a rule for at least 25 years. Late Friday classes sucked because we had to run out and move our cars from the football game paid lots. But at least back then they weren’t charging to park other places on campus.

Well they havent enforced the rule for decades now. Its been a written rule but a practical precedent has been set. So yeah some people are surprised.
The rule is also no gas powered generators on campus. Never has been enforced.

It depends where on campus. It has been enforced on the parade ground for the last 10+ years. Other parts of campus, not so much.

A bit surprised LSU isn’t charging a tailgating fee along with separate tent and chair fees.
