Angel Reese calls out Chicago Sky management

I was waiting for this to happen. The Sky did an awful job building a team around All-Star Angel. We've seen other greats like LeBron do the same thing. Hopefully Chicago will sign an actual point guard and a wing for next season.

The problem with that is there’s like 10 good players in the whole league and the rest are replacement level players.
There’s literally not enough good women’s basketball players to support 13 franchises. Not good!

This thread beats out the soccer board for gayest post in TD history.

Good thing the Bulls kept Jordan when building a team around Rodman.

Sometimes I wish Angel would just STFU, but in matters like this, she usually speaks the truth and says things other players aren't bold enough to say.
Unfortunately for her, calling out management for putting together a shite-roster means that by association you are also calling out your teammates for sucking, and in a drama-filled league with a bunch of women, that probably won't sit well in the locker room

We’re getting WNBA threads even in the offseason

She's the anti-Jordan. She can't hit an open bucket underneath the basket.

Since you said point guard and a wing.... I assume this post is somehow related to basketball??

Did WNBA finish for year? couldn't even tell you if they were still playing games. Rather watch paint dry.

They do if they’re as good as they think they are

How soon until she is collecting a government check?

Another example of a failure by the WNBA. Their regular season does not end until next week; which pits the final playoff races against NFL opening weekend.
They will then pit what should be the most exciting part of their season (playoffs) against the 1st quarter of the NFL season.
Of course, they also think it's a good idea to have their regular season start when the NBA playoffs are also starting.

"I probably am frustrated [with] myself right now," Reese said in the postgame news conference. "I think the language is taken out of context.
I really didn't intentionally mean to put down my teammates, because they've been through this with me throughout the whole year. They've busted their arse, just like I've busted my arse.
They've showed up for me through thick and thin, and in the locker room when nobody could see anything.
"So, I want to apologize to my teammates, which I already have, about the article and how it was misconstrued about what was said. And I just have to be better with my language.
Because I know it's not the message, it's the messenger. And understanding what I say can be taken any kind of way. So, I just have to really be better and grow from this."
