The last time the Cardinals beat the Saints in the Dome, current OC Doug Nussmeier was QB for the Saints. Bobby Hebert was still with the Falcons and Boomer Esiason was backup to Cardinals starting QB Kent Graham.
The Cardinals have also lost three straight season openers while the Saints have won six straight (currently the most consecutive)

I was at the 1997 Cardinals-Saints when Ditka was the coach
Saints won 27-10 sacked Jake Plummer a bunch and intercepted him a few times also.
It was either the last game of the year or the last home game. I can't remember

I completely forgot Boomer went to Arizona for a season. I thought he went from the Jets back to Cincy to retire a Bengal but he had a detour in the desert.

I don’t know why, but this made me remember Max Hall. He was an UDFA QB that started and won against us in Arizona in 2010 after we won the Super Bowl. He started 3 games, went 1-2 and threw 6 ints and 1 TD. He got hooked on pain killers and crack and got arrested shoplifting at a Best Buy. Think he cleaned up and got into coaching or something.

I think that changes Sunday but I hope I'm wrong.

I remember the 14-0 Larry Cipa game of 1974. . Saints shut out Air Coryell in what was I think their final game in Tulane stadium.

Saints beat Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, and Peyton Manning to win the Super Bowl. Don’t know if there been a better run than that.

Well unfortunately it looks like streaks for both teams are about to end.
If Arizona has a pulse then they most likely beat this Saints team.

That was the last home loss of Jim Mora's tenure with the Saints

That's what the Cardinals said last year too when they faced Sam Howell and Washington in 2023.

They probably will tomorrow then

Technically he was already in coaching when all that happened

That was one of those “wtf” bizarre losses we’d always have in the payton years. We lost that game to that shite browns team that ran trick plays every other play too that year.

That probably changes today.
