Do you have adult friends or relatives who are hyper narcissistic about their birthday?

I work with a lady in accounting who makes it a point to tell everybody that it’s her birthday, talks about special dinners She has planned every night this week to celebrate and she even wore a little hat all day today that says birthday girl.

She gets all pissy if her friends and family don’t call her to tell her happy birthday that it ruins her day, etc..

What an insufferable human being she is. She’s in her late 40s.

If it only takes two words to brighten someone’s day and you don’t do it. You are the problem.

Knew a dude who insisted on having a “birthday week.”

I don't mind people who love their birthdays as long as it is confined to that day. I don't know how this "birthday week" or "birthday month" crap got started, but it's trashy as hell.

The same as people who take the day off for their birthday. Really?

I never gave my birthday much thought after I turned 21, but one of my grandsons was born on my birthday and I’m not recognized at all now…haha

I find if you go into your birthday with 0 expectations, you won't be disappointed.

That should be the norm for everyone over 21.

Anyone who gets excited about their birthday past 9 y/o, should be avoided at all cost.

I date a bi-polar woman off and on that buys herself a birthday cake that says Happy Birthday (her name) on it every year. One year I actually took her out to eat for her birthday and she wanted to pay the ticket

I mean, i enjoy a whole week off and a birthday is as valid of a reason as any to take a week off. But I dont even celebrate my birthday. This year is my 40th and I am hoping everyone just forgets including my wife.

Over/under on how many cats she owns?

I’m thinking at least 5.

My birthday is this Saturday. Had all sorts of friends and family try to make plans to do something. I told everyone of them "Kentucky plays Ole Miss at 3:30. If you want to come over, have some bourbon and beer, and cheer on the Cats then come on over. Otherwise don't bother.'
