Anyone want to see 8 get a few more touches?

This is no knock to Durham. I felt Johnson provided a different look. I wouldn’t mind seeing 3 of Durban’s touches go to Johnson.

He’s very shifty and I can absolutely see him breaking off a huge touchdown run in a crucial moment. Extremely dangerous in open space.

I’m not trying to be condescending, but why? Johnson had 3 carries:

8 yards
1 yard
-1 yard

Johnson has his place, but Durham is a better RB in basically every aspect. So unless Durham is getting 20+ carries, I don’t really want many of them going to Johnson. Now if you want to say you would like to see more involved I would hear you out, but as of now I don’t really have a desire for him to take carries away from Durham.

He has a unique role on the offense. Look for him to get more involved as the season progresses

I liked him out there. He’s bigger than I thought.

The Ju’Juan Johnson hype train has been doing 100 mph with no brakes. People were ready to have him run our red zone offense last year as a QB.

BK a couple weeks ago said the biggest question was if he was going to redshirt or not. I’m guessing playing several snaps against a top 5 team on the road answers that question.

Thomas looked better than Johnson

Don’t need to see a higher percentage but I liked the way he looked as a complimentary piece to Durham. He’s bigger than I expected.

I was surprised that Zavion threw the ball and not Ju’Juan.

Ju’Juan was a qb.

I was happy with it. But I knew when I saw a back throw the ball it was Ju’Juan. I was wrong.

More touches sure, but he had 5 catches & 3 rushes. More than I expected from him

I guess it all depends on the game plan. I dont see anyone in our RB group except Durham who can run between the tackles.

I thought Johnson looked good. Is Kaleb Jackson just out of the picture entirely right now?

I was born and raised in BR, but have been in lafayette the past 5 years. Juju Johnson was literally the best HS athlete in Lafayette. Talent is there, just don't know how LSU can best use him.

It’s a super long season. Guys will get hurt. Snaps will need to get allocated. He’ll be a part of the offense all year and probably end the season between 100-125 touches which is solid for a #2/3 back

It's only been one game. Let's just enjoy seeing both play.

I think the Lindsey situation also forced their hand a bit. I like JuJuan in his role, give him a few Carries and screen passes a game. Plus the threat of him throwing it will always be there
