Played his best game on Saturday night. I’ve been very critical of him. I’m glad he keeps working hard

Finally healthy. Def stuck his head in there a few time. Had good deep coverage when required. Great asset to have.

Will be a great hometown redemption story if he keeps that kind of play up

He also had a terrible blitz where he was slow to blitz, then missed Klubnik on the sack, and let to a long run and he was immediately subbed out. Guess people forget those things

I would say that was his only relevant mistake

tip of the cap to Jardin!

He's been a starter for most of his career, gets told he's lost his starting spot to a transfer then gets told, hey, we need you back this first half, then

he comes in and balls out! (instead of being a bitch)

he was also in a decent amount in the 2nd half, so his story not done

I said before the game that he’s a worst safety I’ve ever seen. Glad he had a good game. I’ll gladly eat crow the rest of the season

Was the late blitzer on a pass play when Cade tucked it and ran through a gap for nice yardage. Easy play that Gilbert blew. He’s okay for a backup but not ideal.

When I saw him in the game I got immediate PTSD of him being a burnt piece of toast last season. He really held his own against Clemson though.

He played well, minus that one play. Good to see.
