Using the N word isn’t a crime.

How is this a crime? Do we not have the first amendment?

Can you spot the obvious distinction in the 2 (assuming the first is factually accurate)? This isn't difficult.

What's worse than the rapist's sentence is the blurb stating his record will be wiped clean and he will not have to register as a sex offender.

Wtf, Minnesota??

Also... did the woman *actually* call a child a nagger or did she say nagger on video after being prodded? Either way, I don't care, but never knew if she actually called the applesauce thief the bad word.

Not just Minnesota...everywhere.

Lets do an experiment:

1. "I want to murder your elderly grandmother and rape her corpse"

2. "****"

Now let me hit "submit" and see which one was censored.

Honestly, I'd like your take... so... what's the distinction?

I can spot two.. race and religion... no, three, violence vs words. No, four... the words were precipitated by applesauce thievery.

One was sentenced (assuming those numbers are true) and the other has yet to be.

Hope the OP verified the rapist's sentencing to make sure it's legit.

That woman isn't going to spend a day in jail. That's all for show.

Wouldn't be the first time I took an OP at face value... I'll keep checking in to see how this fleshes out.

Edit... I see it now- she FACES 270 days on three charges. My reading skills are off today.

To the left using the N word is the ultimate of crimes.

One has been sentenced

One is facing a potential sentence

I see it now... I glossed over it the first two times.

But.. if she gets 270 days, how does that stack up on a rape conviction netting less time, a clean record and no requirement to register as a sex offender?

That's what the dishonest people who make these memes hope for.

I will bet you a substantial amount of real money she doesn't, and I'll bet you a smaller sum that she doesn't see any days in jail with a conviction.

In theory, unconscionable.

However, I googled the rape case and saw some reporting (a lot looked copy-paste even from seemingly legit sites) but I saw nothing about the actual underlying facts (what he was charged with, what he pled to, etc.).

The case may have been shite. People who melted about Trump and J6 Defendants being arrested and accused of crimes should know better than to take that at face value without any evidence....or they should know better, at this point. I tried to use those as a teaching opportunity but it's clear they didn't listen.

So the guy that was sentenced got 180 days for raping a 4 year old

Make that make sense to me

It said he was convicted of rape. Was he not convicted of rape, not convicted of anything, or convicted of something else?

the rest of the story

Shei was 15 and 16 years old at the time of the sexual assaults and he was initially charged in juvenile court in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his case was pushed back to the point that prosecutors would soon lose jurisdictional authority to prosecute the case.

Charges were dismissed against Shei in those cases but were soon refiled. Shei was then given a plea deal that included his stay of adjudication and no prison time in exchange for him not challenging certification in adult court, which allowed for his continued prosecution, according to Olmsted County Senior Attorney Thomas Gort.

Shei entered an Alford plea in December 2022, meaning that while he does not admit guilt, he admits that a jury would convict him based on the evidence.

You don't think it's likely that a young offender named Mohammad in Minnesota would face leniency in the sex abuse of a child? I appreciate you looking for facts- and I hope, if you are so inclined, you share them- but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

To the larger point you are trying to make- yes, this emotionally charged rage/clickbait.
