Its kind of dumb to rank teams before the season and really even after a couple of games too many unknowns. I certainly wish we were not #1.
CFB needs to start ranking teams 1st of October, would provide a much more accurate picture of how the season really went.

Preseason rankings are pointless. I know it is just hype, but the real ranking should come after week 1. A complete shuffle based on results.

This is a hypothetical ranking if the committee had to rank teams. Almost no shot we’re going to jump to that in the AP after this week

It's a fun little game they play with the preseason and early rankings but they don't fricking matter. All that aside, I would have LSU at #2 behind OSU.

Personally, I prefer when LSU flies under the radar, and there are a lot of people in the papers doubting LSU that’s to me when LSU is the scariest and most dangerous

I think early season you should reward teams who go win games.
