If so

We will score a lot of points

Along with an outstanding defense

Good combination

Yes. Bama may have an interim HC when we play them

One of the best. Florida and South Carolina are up there too. All 3 of those defenses are in the first half of the season though which is crazy.

I was impressed by how little time Nuss had every play. Clemson was able to pressure with 4 most of the night. We had a great game plan that got the ball out of Nuss’s hands ASAP, and it was needed.

We will play other great defenses, but Clemson was impressive on that side of the ball.

I hope the coaching staff continue to scheme to the opponent as well as they did yesterday. I’ve seen some shitting on the play calling around here, but we were able to minimize the strength of Clemson (D Line) most of the night. Calling a 5 step drop back 40 times in this game would have been a horror show…

Just going to point out, Clemson wasn't "just" the #4 ranked team playing at home.

Preseason, they were projected to have the best overall defensive line. And more to the point, they are supposed to have both the top edge rusher (TJ Parker), and top defensive tackle (Peter Woods) going into next year's draft. Both are supposed to be first round picks.

We went up against that with a brand new offensive line, missing both tackles from last year (Campbell being a high 1st rd, and Jones a 3rd rd pick).

For those who continue to bitch that Sloan isn't a good playcaller- we held the ball over 37 minutes, ran the ball for over 100 yds on them, and Nuss got sacked once (while going 28 for 38). For frick's sake, we were able to put DJ Chester in as Left Tackle for 4 plays while Adams was out with a ding, and not only was Nuss not blown up, we got a first down.

The game plan and calls were great. We negated the best D Line we're probably going to see this year.

I noticed this as well, like 2 seconds.

Klubnik said post game that he was having trouble recognizing LSU's defense. The opposite of what we've been hearing in recent seasons.

Nope. The best Defense our Offense will face this year is LSU's in practice each day.

I would add Ole Miss to your list and take Bama off…Clemson may not be as talented 1-11 as A&M, UF, OU and Ole Miss, but they have excellent pieces, play with extreme confidence and physicality, and are extremely well-coached.
