He might be worse than Napier

Yeah, Nebraska was gonna choke again...

The choke was on & he fricked it up

Not sure he is the worst. Most predictable? Quite possibly

He isn't worse than Sonny Cumbie.
it's not even close.
1st and goal from the 1.
Runs the same four fricken plays.
Run game gets hit in the first half.
Abandoned it completely in the second half, multiple games.
The first three quarters of his game plan have to be scripted.
Zero adjustment, zero awareness.
Starts finally coaching on the fourth quarter.
Recruited two stellar pocket passers, gets royally upset to with them and goes on the radio about how they need to run and move more.
100% Cumbie would bench Payton Manning for staying in the pocket. Doesn't matter what number Payton puts up.
Cumbie played for Mike Leech.
It's a damn insult to Mike to say that Cumbie came from the Mike Leech coaching tree.
I can dig up quotes if y'all want.

Yea he was bad. Any half decent coach would have beat us

As soon as Clemson gets a 1st or LSU fails to convert a 3rd down; many on Tiger rant will have Kelly in consideration

I wasn’t worried starting to get onboard with Nebraska making a run at 9 wins this year during the preseason.
Took me about a quarter to realize they aren’t even close to being back.
Watching what amounted to a B10-MAC challenge last night was pretty shocking as far as how bad the bottom tier teams are looking right now in that conference.
If you’d taken the logos off the jerseys I’m not sure anyone could’ve been able to tell which conference UW, MN, Rutgers and Nebraska were a part of last night.
I guess the upside for any of them is that the bar for finding wins is potentially really low so getting to 7-8 wins is probably just a matter of having a solid QB and a playmaker somewhere on offense.

As bad as Sonny has been, remember that the SWAC and MEAC are D1. He's light years ahead of many of the coaches in those conferences.

This would be my vote

I'd absolutely take Fobbs over Cumbie.

Scott Satterfield is the guy you hire if you just don’t give a frick about your football program. Does just good enough to not get fired. Cincinnati throwing away their momentum from Fickell with that hire was mind boggling.
