He just got a commitment.
No one can sign right now.

A LHP that is throwing 97 at barely 17 years old? I usually hate when people say this stuff but I’d put the odds pretty high that he doesn’t make it to LSU.

NIL could be a game changer for baseball, as much as I dislike the way its being abused...it has created more value for kids to choose college.

There have already been three guys listed in this thread that have made it to college with the same or better velo and are left handed.
Can you people fricking stop.

The possibility is probably slim, but not zero the way LSU has been putting pitchers in the early rounds and NIL.
He is young so college may be something he is interested in. Like posted earlier there are several examples of players choosing college over the MLB. I would rather have him commited to LSU then somewhere else.

Regardless, it’s not a conversation for the thread announcing his commitment and the only people that bring it up are doing it in bad faith.

Just to stick up for my post...
It was not in reference to the updated OP where the name of the kid was announced.
Initially, there was no name...so I was asking "who".
I don't want it to appear as if I was knocking the kid on this board.

Law Firm of Schmidt and Schmidt could be quite the pair next season.
