I see all the press about transsexual stuff and hatred of various groups etc but has there been any reporting of whether or not IT was taking SSRI meds like Prozac etal?

From what he wrote, he actively avoided any therapy, so if that's true, then it's highly unlikely he was on SSRIs.

Seeing what I have seen so far I am gonna assume yeah.

Per his manifesto he’s had thoughts like this for years.

We will never know. HIPAA and stuff. Wouldn’t doubt it though…..

There’s almost no doubt about it. These drugs do more harm than good and just flood your brain with serotonin. There’s no real science behind them, they don’t target specific parts of the brain that are messed up. On top of that they’re hell to come off of and while not narcotics they do lead to dependency.

Since Sandy Hook.
Mass shootings became is identity. He even got offended when one did a poor job of a mass shooting on his birthday

You can go to any doc in a box and get SSRIs from a shitty nurse practitioner or GP. These drugs are overprescribed and have almost nothing to do with being in therapy.

Which shooters have not been on them?

Why would someone who acknowledges that he's fricked up and actively concealing it, specifically noting he had to avoid therapists, do that?

This is a good example of correlation v. causation.
Crazy people are more likely to be on psychological medication.

I don’t really want to go back and watch the rantings of that freak but I’m pretty sure he said he couldn’t talk about his homicidal ideations to his therapist because he would be committed (which is true).

He specifically says he won't talk to a therapist (or his family) about his psychosis because he'd be "immediately reported and put on a watch list".
Non-trans related stuff, mind you.

Well people keep trying to steer the discussion to largely irrelevant variables like the trans stuf

A clear sign of mental illness is a "largely irrelevant variable"?

I mean what % of trans people are doing stuff like this? To me this is no different than Democrats claiming white males do all mass shootings. These are just evil people.

Slow', you've made some very good points through this thread and, as much as I would prefer no to admit it, you ain't wrong. However, I wouldn't say that the trans-angle is necessarily irrelevant. it seems to be the major factor relating to his confusion, depression, and increasing tendency toward violence.
In my unlearned and unprofessional opinion, I believe he would have done better in dealing with his inner demons had his parents actually been parents who provided guidance and said "no" once in while rather than kow-towing to his misguided whims and signing off on his legal name change to reflect his desire to embody a more effeminate version of himself.
It's entirely possible that he was only doing all this (changing his name and such) for the attention it would garner him. Maybe his parents ignored him for the most part and allowed him to do this because it would be easier than sitting down with him and getting to the root causes of his inner issues. That could certainly alienate him further and push him closer to committing the actions he did yesterday.
As you said, there's no indication from his ramblings that he was taking any SSRi's or that he was actively seeking to transition. He had a seemingly rational understanding of what kind of responses his words would draw if he were to make known his thoughts of violence to others, so he doesn't sound completely insane, but he was most definitely irrational.
I think the trans-stuff does play a significant role in the whole thing, though. Just probably not in a way that most people would see it on the surface.
Thanks for your thoughts this time 'round. You make some very valid and thought-provoking points whether I, or others here, want to admit it or not.
