"As I feared, our Mayor’s words are now being used to justify harmful federal overreach in cities nationwide. This is bigger than DC — or partisan politics. It’s about resisting creeping authoritarianism," Ward 5 Councilmember Zachary Parker wrote on X, adding, "we must not legitimize an illegitimate agenda."
quote:
"She said she appreciates the federal surge and that it's having positive results in D.C. That's not the case," at-large Councilmember Robert White Jr., a Democrat, said in a video on X.
“We should not, as the District of Columbia, be giving people the impression that this is a good thing, that we are OK with it, that it is helping the city. It is not doing any of those things, and it is not intended to help us,” White said.
“This is trampling on democracy in real time,” he said. “I am not OK with this. The average resident is not OK with this. D.C. residents, D.C. voters, are not OK with this.”

Another Democratic councilmember, Brianne Nadeau, of Ward 1, posted on X that "DC is under siege" from the federal government, with "armed military patrolling our streets & masked agents scooping up neighbors & taking them away."
"Our residents are afraid, hesitant to go out & to work, angry that our limited autonomy is being eroded. There is nothing welcome about this," she said.

Bunch of dawned liars. YouTube is filled with DC residents describing their joy about being able to walk outside at night or stroll through their neighborhoods without fear.

So reducing carjacking 87% is not "helping the city" or "is not intended to help us." Holy $hit!

In other words; Our anti-Trump agenda is more important than the safety and security of Americans.
Of course it works. Only idiots think otherwise and two have opened their mouths and removed all doubt.

Imagine complaining about a reduction in crime and weeks without a murder. Welcome to the deranged liberal mindset.

If Trump said eating dog shite was bad for you every democrat around would have it spread from ear to ear the next day.

obviously you're not very sophisticated carjacking ads to the richness and patina of urban dwelling it's as essential as museums and the creative class of homeless people.
you haven't lived until you've seen a man schitting on the street!

Just know how the Dems play the game. Trump bad. Whatever makes Trump look good, oppose. Whatever makes Trump look bad, jump all over it.

Dirty Dems are always spouting off an alternate fictional reality and trying to reset the narrative.

President Trump only got 6.5% of the D.C. vote and he’s trying to help make that place safer for its residents. 92% voted for Harris, who wouldn’t have made any attempt to make it safer, likely would have made it more dangerous. You simply can’t make this up. Pissed off because their neighborhood is safer.

Yeah that dude sounds like he might have a side hustle of carjacking.
But he is a democrat and they are criminals so it fits.

A particular sector of DC gen pop is OK with car jacking because they don’t be owning a car, or they own a car that no one in their right mind would steal.
Plus, it is a $ource of income for inner city youth.
