Someone needs to help me remember: was this always the case that the games started twenty plus minutes after the advertised time? I don't seem to remember being that annoyed back in the early 2000's, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

It used to be like around 6:38 for a 6:30 kickoff. This is a little excessive...ha

I'll need to remind myself of this when I do my usual of opening up the ESPN App and frantically clicking refresh because I'm going to miss the kickoff only to remember that's the broadcast start time.

Not moved at all; broadcast starts at 6:30 with kick off 6:52. Moot because Alabama-Florida State may still be playing.

It's been pretty common for the primetime kickoff games.
LSU and USC last year was at 4:30pm and didn't kickoff until 4:44

You can look at the Bama game as well...6:30 coverage began but kickoff was scheduled for 6:49
