Between letting 600k Chinese Students skip the line ahead of Americans to doing absolutely fricking nothing about H-1B, the White Collar American worker will start to become extinct in the next decade.
Between Automation/AI and our Ruling Elite, it will be very hard to make seriously money here soon unless you are either born into it or take significant risks. The days of living a good but not great life are starting to dwindle.

Why do panicans over react to every little thing?
Sure, AI is expected to take 15% of jobs. It's also going to leave us in the dust if we aren't able to compete, so it's important to bring MORE jobs back into the US to counter this necessary advancement, which is exactly what Trump has been doing.

I think it is a couple of reasons...one is they just aren't very bright, and secondly, they are overly emotional. Put those two together, and you get posts like this. It is kind of the same with the crybabies already calling our OL trash, even though they haven't seen a single play. They are just miserable, glass half empty people.

But the reality is that back in April, when he said he was going to revoke Chinese student visas, China threatened to stop supplying rare earth minerals to US automakers.
Currently, due to poor domestic policy, we're screwed on rare earths. And China has been buying up mines and securing mineral rights around the globe.
They have the market pretty much cornered, we're fooked, and they know it.
