This was fun must-play co-op on the 360. Loved it. I have no desire to revisit but it was a great game.

Pretty much with a few new bells and whistles .....4K, up to 120fps, HDR VRR support, Atmos, Vision support and an overhaul of the online infrastructure including cross play. I've played enough of the original trilogy and revisited the first one with the Ultimate Edition so this is pass for me...but glad PS folks will get a chance to play.

This is cool if you are on Playstation and have never played a gears game before (although you really have, if you've played Uncharted).

yeah, glad i didn't spend $40 on this.
people eat AR rounds, but a shotgun is 1 shot. make it make sense.

Multiplayer isn't why you played this game. It was kind of fun, but lots of cheesing and it was hard to have fun.
The campaign was where it was at it's best. Great moments.

Does it include Horde mode? If so, I might think about it getting it for my son. He’s always been PlayStation, I was Xbox back in the day.

I think Horde Mode wasn't introduced until GOW2, but that's not to say they couldn't include a version of it with this one.

Hard disagree. Multiplayer had a steep learning curve, but it was amazing. The campaign was also great, though, to be fair.

Horde mode on GOW2 is still the best multiplayer mode ever. I remember in the team vs team games there was always a host advantage because of the way their servers worked. Is lag switching still a thing? I remember people talking a lot about that for this game also.

Really fun back in the days of 360. Could never quite master the sniper rifle on multiplayer and so I just ran around trying to get lucky with the shotgun.

Reddit is full of posts about players pumping 2 or 3 shotgun blasts into someone who isn't looking, nothing happening, then that person whipping around and 1 shotting them.
It's definitely GoW MP.
