Cops love their low hanging fruit with BS speeding tickets

But God forbid they go after people who are swerving around in a vehicle with expired tags on their phone. Nah. Give me a ticket for 11 over for trying to get past the erratic driver. On top of that I requested he show me the radar gun reading showing me I was at 46 in a 35 and he said "Im not allowed to do that"
Or better yet they can do heavy lifting like popping drug dealers but nah they have to be fricken revenue collectors instead.

I’ll do you one better: APD officer pulled me over with the red arse having nothing to do with me and then gave me a citation for failure to use a turn signal.

If you're doing more than 10 over in a 35 mph zone you absolutely deserved that ticket.

The fact that traffic backs up onto I10 at the Highland Road exit every evening because of people constantly blocking the intersection tells you all you need to know about what they're focused on. They could literally walk the 100 feet to the intersection from Troop A and ticket a car every 5 minutes until, but that would require a little serving.

I had a turn coming up and there was a dump truck with a trailer behind them. I explained all of this to the stupid mouth breather cop and he said "I dont care" I asked to see the radar reading and he refused.

It's going to get worse now that it's officially against Louisiana law to use the left lane. 1mph over, you can be fined, 1mph under you can be fined, drive in it too long without passing another car (you know, since you can't go over the speed limit, see point #1) and you can be fined!
