This is the big weakness in the arguments of fans who say the Saints will be bad this season but are rebuilding. Who is in charge of the rebuilding? The same folks who put us in this situation. Who would trust this crew to pull off a multi-year disciplined rebuilding plan? Are you serious?And we saw draft picks get traded away again in the last week.
This is a bad team led by a bad front office. They might say there are plans to rebuild but as long as people still show up for games, they won’t feel the pressure to execute.

Loomis sucks. But Payton and Brees got us in this situation.
CSP kicked the can knowing he’d leave after Brees retired. So he didn’t plan for the future knowing he’d be gone.
Loomis was just a yes man for CSP.
Payton also is the one who told Loomis to hire Allen after he “retired”
It’s obvious Loomis gives a shite when he went after CKM. It’s what he should have done after Payton/Drew. But they told him to run it back with Allen.

I think you are mistaken i.e. 'fans in the stands' is secondary when it comes to NFL franchises it's the almighty TV contract $ that fuels the big profits ! Selling season tickets/concessions is a nice by-product but NOT the main factor. The evidence is the long term NFL ownership rarely changes hands and NEVER because of $ ! The Saints aren't the only franchise that has a LONG history of losing and many of these 'loser' programs have LESS diehard season ticket-holders than us !

Look Goodell makes the owners a metric ton of money. His adding Europe, Amizon, Netflix, Paramount, moving the draft to other cities etc etc.

When playing the Falcons was our SuperBowl quarterbacked by Steve Bartkowski and others.
When Howard Cosell said he would never again let Saints on Monday Night Football again cause we were a joke !!
