Yankees will never win sht again because of the awful universal fanbase that follows them

There is a reason the Yankees have not won a World Series since 2009 despite having one of the highest payrolls in baseball year in and year out.
And you can 100% put every bit of blame on the absolute worst fanbase any sport. The players probably would prefer to play on the road than play in that pressure cooker full of fat liberals that will constantly be on the player’s arse.
Every team in the league goes through a rough patch, but I never see as much “fire the coach” “Trade him” “release him” crap on social media as I do when it’s the Yankees and it’s every year.
I’m honestly sick of seeing it. They are who they are and will never win sht again because of the awful universal fanbase that follows them.

I agree that they have the worst fan base. I have a tough time accepting that the biggest egos are dependent on fan enthusiasm to perform at their best.
I would start with the argument that filling your roster with players constantly seeking to be the highest paid does not have a great track record of building team dynamics. That’s a lot of egos to manage. They are gathered on a team for the wrong reasons.
How many of us expected Texas A&M to win a natty with their payroll during Jimbo’s last year?

A fan base that doesn’t believes in slumps, bad outings on the mound, losing streaks. It’s baseball, I’m afraid they are involved in the wrong sport.

If the yankees are losing, u can get tickets so so easy. for nothing. If they are on a streak, $25 seats go for a few hundred. Its not about teaching the next generation with them, its all about greed.

I mean you can go at any fanbase for their quicks if you want but blaming the Yankee fans for the underperformance when you can mark the decline coinciding with the Boss’s death and the direction they took subsequently is just silly.

First time on the internet? Yankees fans are the class of baseball. The most knowledgeable and passionate fans in all of sports. But sure, go on X and search the algorithms for what you want to see. Also, Philly fans literally exist.
