How many hours in the sun needed to achieve this tan line?

That is certainly impressive.

Last weekend I was driving my boat in from offshore (we dont have a top), about 1hour hat backwards in the sun. I guess by that point the sunscreen I applied 8 hours earlier was gone.

Got home and the wife asked what was going on with my forehead and I had that (though not as dark).

Got a friend who was a postman for years before retiring. He'd wear shorts in the hot months and wear white socks and comfortable shoes on his route.

His socks came up about 6 inches above his ankles. One day at a swim party he shows up in shorts and flip-flops with the whitest feet up to where the tube socks ended on his lower calf and then a very distinctive dark tan line. Looked funny as shite.
