Sad news to share with the F&D…Gris Gris has passed away

Wanted to update the board that Gris Gris passed away this afternoon. The three she loved most were her family, the LSU Tigers, and good food! She also enjoyed getting the scoop and good recipes on TigerDroppings.

This is Gris Gris’s brother and thought your group would like to see the obituary listed below. Thank all of you for interacting with my sister on this site, she talked about this site all the time and truly enjoyed it. Thanks again from me and my family!

Wow, feel like I just got kicked in the gut. We shared several emails about food and dining places in Lafayette. Pretty sure she had a niece attend school at ULL. She was so genuine and great contributor of information on the FND board. She will definitely be missed, sending up prayers and support for the family. RIP GG

She was on Tom Fitzmorris old site before he closed it and we all came over here.
I got an email from her a couple weeks ago. My wife will be really upset about this. She grew up with the family.
She was a very gracious, extremely caring and smart woman with a tender heart. I for one will miss her tremendously.

Unfortunately, she had an aneurysm that ruptured. It was very unexpected and very fast.
