Lots of LSU fans in Houston and they have a great chant. LOL IDK instead of shopping it around. What say you salty bitches

I mean, we used to play Rice fairly often, I dont see why Houston would be a bad choice. Should be a manageable game, and lots of LSU fans when it's "road".

Meets the P4 opponent requirement.

No. UH doesn't have a large and dedicated enough fanbase excited about their team. Also it would just be boring from our end.

Ok so we just do H and H with random P4 schools then?

LSU was supposed to play Rice in Houston during what became the China Virus season.

With a nine game conference schedule, schedule as many “easier” p4 opponents as possible. Plus, Houston is an easy 5 hour drive. I wouldn’t mind playing someone like UNC again either.

So? It's about what's good for LSU. We have a big alumni base in Houston, and recruit there a lot. This plays to both of those.

We're going to see plenty of large, dedicated fanbases in the 9 conference games.

I think that's the point. We'd like 34-10 in Tiger Stadium, 31-17 on the road.

Let's craft the schedule to make the playoffs, then you can play good OOC opponents.

Yes. I like the idea that we could see the team on the road in Utah, Colorado, or Minnesota in September. Better than going to Houston every other year. We do that anyway with A&M.

UH actually has a larger enrollment than LSU. Around 40k.

Not a bad idea. I think the last time they beat us , Saban was hired 4 days later. He was real prickly. His wife thought she was in a 3rd world country.

No. Playing A&M and Texas already solve the problem of the Texas market. NRG sucks, sucks, sucks. UH would just be a risk for us napping on an inferior team. We play in the Texas bowl too often as it is.

I dunno, but LSU needs to schedule Pitt. They have never played.

We played them in basketball last year, and that's enough. There's no history or tradition between the schools
