Yeah I don’t understand the uproar. I thought the whole point was to get redistricting done. Seems like that’s what happened.

Special session started the same day. Harrison pointed out that the Dems accomplished what they wanted. They gained national attention, got their donors active again, waisted a session, and got Newsom and Fat Man a start on their campaign for president.
There will be no repercussions for the Dems. It was all hot air.
