I hope this movie makes $1B so he can finally get funding for At the Mountains of Madness

Whale’s movie was an improvement on Shelley’s book. I’ll probably try re-reading it soon to give it another chance, but it was a slog to get through the first time.

My first memory of Frankenstein was this shitty made for TV movie in the early 90s with Cousin Eddie as the monster. I loved it, but I have to believe it was shitty since I can't find it anywhere to rewatch.

Is he still interested in doing that? I remember hearing about that over a decade ago.

Could be solid. Gonna need to ugly up Jacob Elordi for the role.
The National Theater in London did Frankenstein on stage with Danny Boyle directing and with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternating between the roles of The Creature and Dr. Frankenstein. If you ever have the opportunity to watch the video of it either performance, it's fantastic.
