Miller is uncertain. Robinson would be a great pick up. Kamera getting ready to retire.

Maybe, but the Saints should not be in the business of trading draft picks this year, or signing many guys to long term deals. We need to be acquiring picks

If they want a guy we are likely to cut, ok

I would typically agree with this, but Robinson is young and has been able to put up decent numbers in his 3 years. With no clear answer behind Kamara IMO it's worth a look. But I would not give much for a possible 1 year rental.

We don't need to pay for a backup rb this year.

RBs need an offensive line to generate anything of worth. Why would we go after a 1-year rental when we have so many question marks on our Oline right now?

Because you're not making significant improvements to to your Oline now until the next draft/offseason.

Than means Kamara will likely again foot the load at RB and if he gets banged up again you have no running game. Unless Miller and the rest of the RB bunch have shown you more than the rest of us.

Not saying this is a do it at any cost, but it's something that should be explored.

I don't think so. Saints need to acquire draft picks to get yqalent on cheap contracts for a few years, not give up a draft pick to then have to possibly re-sign a player to a large contract.

A good back can be found in almost any round of the draft. Saints need to just ride this season out.

Likely not, but he might be able to make the guard play look better than Miller or Akers has.

He’s the definition of average. Would make a great back up running back. But he’s replaceable as a starter.

I’m guessing Washington has come to that same conclusion and doesn’t want to pay what he’s asking for in his next contract.

I think we’re fine at RB for now. AK has plenty of juice left. I believe Clyde will be a huge weapon for us this year. And Miller looks like he’s finally healthy.

He's a good receiver out of the backfield

No….

Saints need ALL their Draft Picks.

Still mad we didn’t get a 7th rounder for the DT we just traded.

Absolutely not.

Kendre's preseason removes all doubt and Clyde is very serviceable too

The commanders are just doing their due diligence due to the 2nd reason we shouldn't sign him: hes up for a new contract in the offseason

Rb is the one position I want to stay cheap af at for a few years.

No. This team needs to be focusing on the o-line and the d-line. If I could have had my way I would have used my first two picks on the line of scrimmage and waited for next year's draft for a QB.

Case you miss it, the rebuild has started.

Sellers as in what? Precisely.
