Its glaring that they arent on this list. They have gone in the opposite direction from their past in terms of price and service

If Landry had anything to do with this, it was accidental. He doesn’t want to help anyone who didn’t donate big money to his campaign.

Landry signed major tort reform into law this year. Comparative fault overhaul and recovery of medical bills. These changes clearly are paying dividends.

Just my luck! My carrier, State Farm, has the least decrease of less than 4%!

Say what you want…he signed the bills. Yes, it took some kicking and screaming, but he did.

Landry and the Legislators who have been on this since Day 1 deserve credit. Good win for Louisiana drivers.

You do realize rate increases only get approved after EVIDENCE that claims were higher

You cant lower rates on autos, then somehow falsify claims in order to raise rates on homeowners. A lot of those companies dont even write homeowners in La

Quit being a dumbass. Over and over and over again

Why take a shot at Landry about something you know nothing about?
quote:

Temple agreed that the reform enacted in the 2025 Legislative Session would take time to trickle down to policyholders’ premiums. He said he is in communication with insurance companies about a timeline.

“Florida is starting to see some positives both on their property, but specifically on their auto, and it was two years until they saw that,” Temple said. “One thing that I’m engaging with insurance companies is to lend a little bit of credit now for what you saw in those states, to Louisiana? They should recognize that our property and auto rates will fall, and not wait two years to implement.”

Lower rates are still coming from the 2025 bills. Right around the next election cycle

Imagine if Senate would have passed the entire House package of tort reform. We always have to settle. Again Landry is a C JBE is an F. If we could ever get an A state could actually accomplish something Would Tim Temple run against Landry ? Could he win? My greatest fear is JBE running again and winning.

Landry didn’t want to sign them but the conservatives pulled him in the right direction. He gets major props from me for going against Gordon.
