Really well done and really cool looking back on some of the stories and seeing former reporters and anchors.
Got me thinking, who was the black lady who worked for either WBRZ or WAFB in the early 2000s. I remember she left to work for CNN I believe. She was lighter complexion and had short hair. I remember thinking it was wild to see someone from BR News go to a place like CNN.
I know few others have since gone big but I remember her being the first.
Regardless, the show was really good.

Watching the old reporters it’s apparent that the hiring standards at WBRZ have really fallen.

Please tell me it wasn't narrated by John Pastorek

Watching it made me realize that the Baton Rouge that I grew up in was fun and safe, and it was just an incredible place to have been a kid and a young adult. And now it's a trash filled hellhole being robbed by corrupt elected officials and filled with opportunistic gangs and criminal thugs in Chargers.....
Thanks to the freaking democrats that have destroyed the city, its a fricking shame.

It's just a bunch of kids now. The grizzled old veteran newsmen like John Mahaffey and George Sells are way in the past at this point.

No this one was on WAFB I think. Lighter complexion that Sylvia. Short bob’ish hair. Ended up on either CNN or ABC News.
I feel like the last name was Donavan but I could be way off.

There was an Hispanic anchor woman whose last name I think was Flores that I believe went from WBRZ to CNN or one of those other larger networks. Could be wrong on the last name but I think that's it.

Did they show Baton Rouge Beach? It was located off Jefferson when Whole Foods is these days. My cousin lived across the street and we were on many times.
