Geaux Get Bowe Bentley (QB) $$$ He committed to 29th Ranked Class of Oklahoma

We only have 18 commitments….
that could mean we have substantial funds in reserve right now.… to make a significant NIL Offer.
According to 247, Oklahoma has the 29th ranked recruiting class in the country…Fukkin Disaster !!!!!
Some people say… forego Bentley and get a Transfer Portal QB in 2026 .
Rather than Gamble on who MIGHT be in the portal in one year at QB …and IF we can entice them to LSU … I would at least prefer to pursue Bentley…. and secure someone for the roster with a High Ceiling …because no one behind Nussmeier has displayed a high ceiling as yet on the 2025 roster.
I would rather that course of action than put all LSU eggs in 1 basket and HOPE we sign a good Transfer Portal QB in 2026.

Our side won’t stop. But they want Dia. IMO we won’t win against Texas.
We do not live in a world where a QB thinks he won’t start day one. This kid is an OU legacy. We tried. If Venables is fired or OC maybe.
This is subject to change….

I’d rather spend it for a proven transfer. LSU doesn’t have to “hope” if it ponies up enough.

It makes so much more sense to save the money and make sure you land an elite QB in the portal than it does to spend half of that on an ok highschool prospect and then not know if you'll sign an elite portal prospect because your funds to do so are diminished.

Celina is 15 minutes from me and Ive seen him in person and know people that know his family. The parents and more specifically the dad are huge OU fans and have been their whole life. Its 2 hours straight shot to Norman, so we have our work cut out. I heard it really wasnt that close of a recruitment and it was always OU.
