2026 Mid-Size Trucks?

At the end of this camping season I will be selling my travel trailer and Chevrolet 2500HD. I will be looking for a mid-size truck. Are there any major changes coming up with any 2026 mid-size trucks?

you're gonna sell your 2500 so you can save $2000 a year in gas/diesel and maintenance?

Just making them slightly crappier than the previous year.
"What kind of note are you looking for?"

I want something smaller that will fit in my garage and my wife can drive. I will have no need for a 3/4 ton truck after selling the travel trailer.

I bought a Silverado High Country back in Jan this year. I have been super pleased. I got the small Duramax diesel and it does very well on fuel economy, I drive 40 miles each way to work and get 28+ mpg. In city I get 22-24. The High Country has just about every option you can get including SuperCruise with 3 yrs of OnStar included (needed for use of SuperCruise)

The 2026 Honda Ridgeline is expected to receive a significant redesign, potentially including a hybrid powertrain option and updated styling. It will likely feature a more rugged and truck-like appearance, while still maintaining the Ridgeline's signature comfort and refinement.
The Ridgeline & Frontier are the only midsize trucks w 6 cylinder vs the rest w a turbo 4 cylinder.

I was same as you 2 years ago. Had a Chevy 2500. Sold my recreational property and no longer needed a big truck. My wife drives a pilot. Bought a Ridgeline BE AWD. It pulls my Tracker pro 17’ bass boat fine. Never spun a tire pulling it out of my lake. Does everything I need it to do. It was 10K cheaper than a Silverado. My wife drives it whenI need to get oil changed etc on the Pilot. We have put probably 500K trouble free miles on Hondas since 2008.

Ranger can be had with a V6 (two options 2.7 and 3.0 liter) and the Frontier can be had with a 4 cylinder.

Wrong
Ranger is available with the 2.7 Ecoboost V6, an engine with a history of longevity in the F150.

Does it still have the 8-track?
Ridgeline, b/c it has AWD. That is a gamechanger in a small pickup. Best seats in class, too.
Ranger 4WD is next, and Colorado is right there.

Imagine typing…LONGEVITY AND FURD in the same damn sentence!?! Lololol.
There’s a big difference with your comparison, the Frontier & Ridgeline are naturally aspirated.

Crazy world when Ford has the least amount of issues with their trucks.

The Nissan Frontier Pro 4x is a 4 wheel drive that can be had for the same price as the Honda.
The Pro 4X will be better equipped than the Honda.
