First of all I am a big fan of Coach Brian Kelly and would love to see him finish his 10 years at LSU with at 1 NC.

But I have to give you clueless "Ed Orgeron" baws....the running back recruitment has been a failure...he is in his 4th year and he has not been able to recruit and top RB. I mean from Kevin Faulk to Dominic Davis, LaBrandon Toefield, Alley Broussard/Joesph Addai/Vincent/Hester to Keiland Williams / Chales Scott to Stefan Ridley /Jermey Hill / Fournette / Guice / Williams we had some really good ones.

Outside of Durham the RBs are unproven and Durham is too small to be every down back.

If you cannot have an established running game, you are to reliant on the passing game and it it just the reverse problem from the Miles era.

Jayden Daniels ability to run helped us manage but last year the running game was not LSUesque and this is on BK...

First of all, he brought back Frank Wilson to coach what we had.

2nd of all, they just signed the top 2 RB’s in the state of LA in 2025 (yes one of them is currently suspended).

He also signed the 2 best RB’s in the state of LA in 2023. (yes one of them is at Southern)

Durham in 2024

Why do people start threads about topics that they are so uninformed about?

It's always so amazing to watch people be so confident in their stupidity.

Keep on keeping on OP. Don't let your lack of knowledge stop you now!

Logan Diggs was brought in out of the portal as a very serviceable RB for a year, Emery never had a chance with his injuries, Kaleb Jackson was a good one that just hasn't panned out, Durham was one of the best freshman RBs in the country last year, Harlem Berry was the #1 RB in the country. What in the hell are you yapping about?

RB recruiting under O and BK up until the 24 class has been lackluster. But you are totally wrong about Durham. He’s a perfect every down back for the offense we are currently running. He has enough power, but his quickness to the hole and then burst outside make him potentially elite if he can stay healthy. You’re just stuck in this past with this analysis.

As for recruiting- LSU took the top-rated 5 star RB in LA and this entire class in Harris. He’s in camp and about to play a role this season. He will need to add strength, but he’s also a potential nightmare in this offense. Are you just going to ignore that he exists?

Lindsey was a good recruit for a change of pace back if he wasn’t a fricking idiot. Same with Holly. You can’t blame the coaches for guys fricking up like that out of nowhere.

Not being able to develop a running back centric ground game has been puzzling. I thought when BK was hired we’d be more of a defensive and run game based team.

When I started reading this, RB recruiting was not one of the positions I would have thought would be bitched about.

#1and #7 consensus RB recruits in 2025.
#6 consensus RB recruit in 2024.
#10 consensus RB recruit in 2023.

I'm not really sure what else you want or expect.

You are wrong about Durham. He's ideal for what this offense needs him to be.
