DAT 8/11: Red Sox (Crochet) @ Astros (El Reptil) 7:10 PM

Was I impressed with Costanza’s pitching and the boys bopping their way to a series win in New York yesterday?
Thoughts on the possibility of taking this series against the Red Sox to avenge being swept earlier this month?
El Reptil’s return and the possibility of even more injured players returning sooner rather than later?
Mariners and Rangers?

I found out what ole Jerry does for a living:
Carlos Correa's disrespectful Jose Altuve celebration adds Yankees insult to injury
From the Article:
Until there's a single playoff series between the two parties that falls in the Yankees' favor, the Astros will have the only edge that matters (even if the 2017 trophy, and probably the 2019 pennant, was ill-gotten).
That type of impenetrable bravado has made the Astros think it's totally okay to reference their own cheating past and relish in it - and they're right! Until the Yankees take anything meaningful away from them, this is just how it's gonna be. MLB decided that the players deserved no punishment for their own actions, and so the players now decide to do things like this.
Look, there's Carlos Correa - who the Twins handed back to Houston, in a manner that remains completely insane - rounding second on his insurance run home run Sunday and holding his jersey tightly shut, then wagging his finger now. It's a clear reference to Altuve refusing to remove his jersey after his 2019 ALCS walk-off, which led to a bubbling up of buzzer allegations.
Why ... did Altuve refuse to show his chest, though? Did we ever figure that out? Bad tattoo? Just plain old shy? I guess it doesn't matter anymore, even though it was more than likely nefarious. MLB told the world to move, we "did," and now the Astros can continue to reference their own malfeasance as they defeat the Yankees. Just like old times.
Emphasis on the nefarious statement above is mine -- that sentence had me in chuckle for real. It sounded just like ole JerryTheBawler.
Happy Monday everyone.

Is this Bregman’s 1st return to Houston as well?

I made a post the other day about how Altuve responds to noise being how I want my kids to respond.
Carlos Correa is how I would personally respond

CC is absolutely thrilled to be back with the Astros. It shows in everything he does and in how he and his wife reference coming back to Houston as "coming home" in every single thing they say.
I know it's Crochet, but Carlos is going to be pumped for his homecoming and will have the whole team pumped with him. I hope they have a fire in them to defeat Bregman as well, who I expect to play very well in his "homecoming."
That article is pure gold. We are that cold they can't get rid of, that tail they can't shake, and seemingly are living in the Yankees and their fans heads rent free for eternity! It's just glorious.
Revenge for the sweep of the Red Sox would be icing on the cake!

This stupid buzzer thing has been debunked thoroughly, yet here we are. People are a special combination of salty and stupid.

I love Correa’s leadership. I want Air Yordan back so fricking bad!

Consider the 2 specific posters who want to argue about this like their life depends on it and then it makes sense.

My source (whom I trust 100%) told me:
Yes to banging trash cans
No to buzzers

I would support him wearing one if it meant he could be buzzed as to whether or not to run once he gets on base. Would this be legal?

On here absolutely, but was referring to the "article" in this case.

That is hysterical. That “journalist” has definitely watched someone frick his wife

You know what hasn’t been debunked? The Yankees developing and deploying the video room for years and years and still not winning anything and then one of their own former players letting other teams know what they were doing

The best was when that picture of Reddick got circulated by every journalist dildo showing him “wearing a buzzer” with his shirt off celebrating winning the pennant and it was a piece of confetti

Excited for the return of El Reptil and Carlito. Not very excited to face Crochet. However we hit Fried pretty well yesterday

I’ve seen on other sites where you can block seeing specific posters. I wish TD had that function.
